New curriculum Business Data Science starting in August 2019

The BDS program is looking for applicants with a Bachelor's degree demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative skills. 

New curriculum Business Data Science starting in August 2019

The new research master Business Data Science (BDS) is a joint initiative of the Schools of Economics and Business of Erasmus University Rotterdam, the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. 

Why study this program? The availability of big data and the concurrent development of powerful quantitative techniques are giving rise to new perspectives and paradigms in scientific practice. This is particularly true in the field of business, creating challenging new research opportunities in this field. The BDS courses tie the foundations of data science directly to different business fields, preparing students for doctorate research at one of the Schools in business and economics of the three partner universities. At present, accreditation for the research master in Business Data Science is pending. Until accreditation occurs, admitted applicants will be enrolled in the accredited Tinbergen Institute research master program, where the courses are hosted in a separate track.
