PhD Position in Behavioral Economics on Promoting Honesty
This PhD position will be within the Behavioural Economics research group at the Erasmus School of Economics. We are looking for a full time PhD student starting on September 1, 2025. The research topic falls within the intersection of behavioral economics and social psychology. Broadly, the topic will address “how can we elicit more honest behavior”. Relevant research areas are behavioral analysis, behavioral change, and decision-making in the context of ethics, dishonesty, and deception.

PhD Position in Behavioural Finance/Economics
This PhD position will be within the Behavioural Economics research group. We are looking for a full time PhD student starting on September 1, 2025. The topic if the PhD project should fall within the intersection of behavioral finance and economics. Broadly, the topic will address “understanding and improving financial decision-making”. This includes general decision making under risk, but more specifically topics like sustainable investments, the moral aspects of investments, financial regulation, and financial advice.

PhD project in Econometrics, Statistics or Operations Research
The Econometric Institute has open PhD projects available for two highly motivated candidates. The Econometric Institute is one of the leading research groups in econometrics in Europe. The group has an opening for a PhD candidate in the broader field of econometrics, statistics or operations research. The topic of the PhD project will be decided based on the candidate’s interest and profile. The chosen topic should fit into the group’s research expertise, which includes, but is not limited to, business analytics, data science, financial econometrics, operations research and statistics. The (co)promoter of the PhD project will be decided based on the chosen topic.

PhD Position in Behavioral Economics on Group Decision-Making and Discrimination
This PhD position will be within CREED at the University of Amsterdam. Dr. Jan Hausfeld is looking for a full time PhD student starting on September 1, 2025. The research topic falls within the intersection of behavioral economics and neuroeconomics. Broadly, the topic will address “how group affiliations and group compositions affect discrimination and information search across different decision-making contexts”.
