Tinbergen Institute Amsterdam is currently located near the Amsterdam Zuid railway station and close to Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, one of the participating host universities. In Rotterdam BDS is located at the heart of the lively Erasmus University campus.

The Netherlands, and especially Rotterdam and Amsterdam, have a lot to offer to international students. Both cities have a lively social and cultural environment and offers numerous theaters, cafés, museums, parks, canals and other recreational opportunities. Their environs offer more bucolic distractions, such as beaches, sand dunes, waterways, forests and wide-open spaces.

General information on studying and living in The Netherlands is provided by the NUFFIC website for international students.
