Meet the Lecturer

Marketing Research with Purpose


Prof. Dr. Ir. Peeter Verlegh is Professor of Marketing at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and editor-in chief of the AMA’s Journal of Interactive Marketing, and serves on the boards of the Journal of Marketing and the International Journal of Research in Marketing. He is an expert in branding and consumer behavior, with a focus on societal impact, and has collaborated with governments, NGOs and several purpose-driven brands. Peeter has successfully mentored 20 doctoral students in this area, and his research is published among others  in Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science,  and Organizational Behavior & Human Decision Processes.
