Biography

Inez Maria Zwetsloot is an associate professor in the Department of Business Analytics at the University of Amsterdam. Previously she was assistant professor at the Department of Systems Engineering, City University of Hong Kong.

She is the recipient of the Young Statistician Award (ENBIS, 2021) and the Feigenbaum Medal (ASQ, 2021).

Her research focuses on using business analytics and statistics for solving business challenges using data. This includes work on statistical process monitoring, network analysis and the development of AI and generative AI solutions for operations.
