Clément Bellet
Biography
Clément S. Bellet is an Associate Professor (with tenure) at Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research bridges behavioral economics and marketing, using causal inference methods, large-scale data, and field and online experiments to study how consumers and firms respond to social change, emotions, and inequality. His work has been published in Management Science, the Journal of the European Economic Association, and the Journal of Public Economics, and has been featured in media outlets such as The Economist, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, or Le Monde. He received the 2025 Erasmus School of Economics Research Excellence Award and has held prior positions at INSEAD and the London School of Economics.
