Jonne Guyt has won the 2024 AMA-EBSCO-RRBM Award

Faculty member Jonne Guyt (University of Amsterdam) has won the 2024 AMA-EBSCO-RRBM Award for his co-authored article 'A War on Sugar'.

Jonne Guyt  has won the 2024 AMA-EBSCO-RRBM Award

The article with co-authors Kristopher Keller and Rajdeep Grewal (both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) was published in the Journal of Marketing and tackles the problem of overconsumption of sugar. It demonstrates how brands can reduce the amount of sugar in their products and highlights ways to reduce sugar in products without affecting sales.

Jonne Guyt is, together with Francesca Sotgiu (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), teacher of the field course Marketing Science, which is a selectable course in the research master Business Data Science.
